Dr Aaron Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2003 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He holds the distinction of being awarded the Department of Oral & Maxilla-Facial Surgery Gold Medal for being the best student in Dental Anatomy and Histology. His contribution to the dental faculty also earned him both the Gold and Bronze awards from the Dental Society.

He joined the National Healthcare Group (NHG) as a Dental Officer in 2003 and was concurrently the Training Officer for the NHG Polyclinics. In 2007, Dr Aaron began working in the Private Sector as a Dental Surgeon at GPA Dental Centre for 5 years. He continued to Raffles Medical Group Dental as their Physician Leader, sole Clinical Trainer for CEREC dentistry and Clinical-In-Charge of their Dental Laboratory for a further 5 years.

Dr Aaron’s clinical interests lie in computerized dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, prosthodontics and implant dentistry. He is member of the Aesthetic Dentistry Society (Singapore), the Singapore Prosthodontic Society and the Singapore Dental Association. He is also a certified International Trainer for CEREC dentistry with the International Society of Computerized Dentistry. Dr Aaron is also a Mentor to the dental undergraduates at the National University of Singapore Dental Faculty.

His activities outside of dentistry includes being the Vice-Chairperson of the Old Holland Neighbourhood Committee with the People Association and is a very active National Service Men, roving with the Singapore Armed Forces till date.

Dr Daniel Goh graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2003 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

He then joined the National Healthcare Group (NHG) heading a major Polyclinic. He went on to do a stint in Clinical Manpower, managing junior doctors and dentists in government hospitals and recruiting doctors from overseas to fill the manpower needs in the restructured hospitals under NHG’s care. He went on to open and operate some private clinics and worked at TP Dental Surgeons for 5 years. He then decided to team up with Dr Aaron Tan to co-found 1728 Dental Practice.

Dr Daniel Goh’s interests lie in Aesthetic Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Implants. He is a member of the Aesthetic Dentistry Society Singapore and a member of the College of General Dental Practitioners. He is also a member of the Singapore Dental Association and Singapore Medical Alumni Association. He had also been invited to be the official dentist and guest judge of one of the Miss Singapore Universe pageants.

Dr Daniel Goh also believes in giving back to society, volunteering his time and efforts to give free dental treatment to students of NorthLight School, helping them to regain their confidence through their smiles.

Dr Goh also volunteers his time giving free dental treatment to migrant workers at the Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics (HOME).

Outside of dentistry, Dr Daniel Goh is a big wine enthusiast, having previously operated a wine bar and a wine wholesale business. He is also an advisor to a few wine merchants in Singapore.

Dr. Jessalynn Sukamto obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with first class honours from the University of Melbourne. During her time at the university, she gained many accolades including the Dean’s Honours List.

Employing a holistic approach to dentistry, Dr. Jessalynn loves to get to know her patients and tailors individual treatment plans to suit the unique needs of each patient. Having managed and treated patients with dental phobias and special needs, she is known for her gentle touch and her ability to provide a stress-free dental experience. Her approachable and friendly nature also makes her very popular with our young patients.

Dr. Jessalynn enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with particular interest in aesthetic dentistry, endodontics and oral surgery. Being a past member of the Australian Society of Periodontology, she is also actively involved in diagnosing, managing and promoting prevention of gum disease in daily practice.

Dr. Jessalynn is committed to staying at the forefront of new dental developments and regularly attends dental conferences all over the world. She is constantly updating her knowledge and techniques to provide the highest quality and comprehensive care to all her patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Jessalynn loves to stay active with yoga and regularly goes for dental volunteering trips overseas. She also enjoys cooking and eating good food, travelling all over the world to discover new and exotic cuisines.

Dr. Jessalynn Sukamto is registered with both the Australian Health Practitioners Dental Board (AHPRA) and Singapore Dental Council. She is a member of the Aesthetic Dentistry Society Singapore, Australian Dental Association and Singapore Dental Association.

Dr Shirley Lau graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. During her undergraduate days, she was the vice-chairperson of the Freshman Orientation Committee and participated in student exchange programmes to Peking University Hospital of Stomatology and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She also had the opportunity to serve on mission trips to China and Myanmar, bringing basic dental care to the rural areas.

Upon graduation, she worked at National Healthcare Group Polyclinics, Health Promotion Board and Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. During her stint in public service, Dr. Shirley gained exposure in various specialty areas of dentistry, including prosthodontics, endodontics, pediatrics and periodontics. She also volunteered at Healthserve, providing dental treatment to migrant workers.

Dr. Shirley is committed to postgraduate education and has completed numerous courses both locally and internationally. Currently, she is an EXCO member of the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore (2018-2020). She is also a committee member of The College of General Dental Practitioners Singapore and a member of Singapore Dental Association.

Aside from practising dentistry, she enjoys traveling and reading over a good cup of coffee

Dr Amanda He graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, where she was awarded with the SDA Medal for being the best student with distinction in Medicine, and was on the Dean’s list for three years.

After graduation, Dr Amanda has worked with the National Healthcare Group Polyclinics, National Dental Centre, Health Promotion Board, School Dental Service, as well as Kandang Kerbau Women and Children’s Hospital. She has also worked with the Mt Alvernia Outreach Dental Clinic, which provides services to the less fortunate and migrant workers. She enjoys providing general dentistry to patients from all walks of life, with a special interest in treating children. It is her hope to be able to provide a friendly and caring environment and the highest standard of care every one of her patients.

During her free time, Dr Amanda enjoys taking part in aerial arts, a niche performance dance form, yoga, as well as drawing.

Dr Yasmin Huber completed her Bachelor of Science (BSc) majoring in Physiology at the University of Melbourne followed by her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Western Australia. Originally hailing from Singapore, Yasmin has decided to move back home after living in Australia for the past decade.

Yasmin is a caring and gentle dentist who always strives to provide the best treatment outcome for the patient. She knows that visiting the dentist can be a stressful experience and always ensures to create a welcoming environment to help put the patient at ease. She keeps up to date with new developments in the dental field through continuing professional development.

Ms Ying completed her Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy and graduated as an Oral Health Therapist from Nanyang Polytechnic in year 2013. Since then, she has accumulated about 7 years of experience working in National Dental Centre, Health Promotion Board and patient-centric private practices before joining 1728 Dental.

Ms. Ying is a very cheerful and vivacious person, who not only enjoys meeting people but also renders most of her job to educating and motivating her patients to maintain good oral hygiene. She also found her niche as a hygienist specializing in periodontal treatment. She is a steadfast believer of preventive dentistry through dental education.

Outside of work, Ying enjoys swimming, traditional Chinese Medicine and calligraphy. She is a member of NCSS and loves to spend time on volunteer work.

Dr Adrienne Lim did his dental degree at the University of Otago, in picturesque New Zealand. Dr Lim expresses a lot of interest in aesthetic dentistry and oral surgery. He is always actively pursuing new knowledge and ideas. He has completed a course on Implantology at NUS School of Dentistry, as well as the OSSTEM implant course certification.

As a general dentist, he strongly believes in conservative and preventive dentistry. Most of the time, severe dental problems such as a bad toothache could have been easily avoided or prevented by early detection.

He has also worked among the Maori people in the rural areas of New Zealand to provide much needed dental care for the underprivileged.

Sherry is a part 1 registered Oral Health Therapist in Singapore. She graduated from Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) in year 2011 with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She has extensive work experience in various public and private healthcare clinics, including Health Promotion Board (HPB).

As a Dental Hygienist, Sherry works closely with our team of doctors to provide a gentle and holistic dental care to our patients. She provides preventive dental treatment such as scaling and polishing, fluoride therapy and non-surgical periodontal therapy.

Sherry is a member of Association of Oral Health Therapist (Singapore). She is constantly upgrading herself by attending various dental seminars and courses.

Outside of clinical work, Sherry enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Dr Jonathan Lim obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Adelaide. After a 2-year stint working in a rural Western Australia town, he relocated back home and has worked in an established clinic in the East ever since.

Jon is calm by nature and his relaxed disposition puts his patients at ease. He is a strong believer in patient-centered care where he aims to provide the relevant information for patients to make the best decisions for themselves, appreciating that an ‘ideal’ treatment plan differs from individual to individual. Being passionate about dentistry helps him prioritize continued professional development and he enjoys attending courses and conferences as they come up.

Outside of work, Jon strives to develop other aspects of himself and gets a workout in several times a week in the form of a run or gym. Apart from being an avid MMA/soccer fan, he keeps abreast with the daily happenings in the financial world and is always on the lookout for a good investment opportunity.

Ms Seow graduated with a Diploma in Dental Hygiene & Therapy from Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) in 2006 and joined the School Dental Service, before moving on to the National Dental Centre of Singapore (NDCS) in 2008. Since 2009, she has been actively involved in clinical supervision and education of trainee Oral Health Therapists, imparting knowledge and skills as an experienced therapist in a multidisciplinary specialist care setting.

In 2013, Ms Seow earned her Bachelor of Science (Oral Health Therapy) from Curtin University (Australia), including training in Orthodontics. As a result, she was granted with an expanded workscope by the Singapore Dental Council. From 2014, she was involved in the training programme for Orthodontic Dental Officers in NDCS, and was appointed Lecturer for the NITEC in Dental Assisting programme (ITE) in the areas of Periodontics, Preventive Dentistry and Oral Health Education. She also acted as a mentor for new OHTs at NDCS.

Dr Celine Diong graduated from the National University of Ireland with an Honours degree. She embarked her career as a dental practitioner in Ireland where she treated patients in both private practice and the university hospital. Later, she relocated to Singapore to establish her career here.

Dr Celine aims to provide gentle, painless dental care where patients are at the centre of care and treated as a person first– “I treat people not teeth!”. She loves to see how transforming someone’s smile and improving their oral health can have a positive impact on their lives.

Beyond her professional career, Dr Celine also engages in voluntary service. She participated in dental mission trips in places as remote as Tibet, where access to dental care is limited.

In her spare time, Dr. Celine leads an active and vibrant life. You might find her in a spin or yoga class, engaging in friendly badminton matches, or embarking on outdoor cycling adventures. She also enjoys playing the piano. Finding contentment in life’s simple pleasures, pursuing her passion and creating meaningful connections with people brings her joy. One of her bucket list is to experience diving alongside manta rays in the Maldives!
